Jackson's glove on eBayWednesday February 15, 01:25 PM By WENN Michael Jackson's famous white glove is being auctioned on eBay - with the starting price set at GBP140,000. The diamond studded accessory, worn onstage by the Thriller star during the 1990s, was previously part of Liza Minnelli's ex-husband David Gest's private collection, and is now available to buy from a Paris-based seller. The online description reads: "This is specifically a glove to be worn in concert as there are no stones on the palm side, so holding the microphone and manipulating the fedora hat is easier. "On the back side of the glove are hundreds of rhinestones individually sewn on. This glove is a significant piece of pop history." Potential buyers are warned that the piece is not in perfect condition. "The palm side is visually stained through use." source: yahoo Enrico

eBay auction link ---> here here is the glove: Michael Jackson's signature trademark piece, the Single White Glove, owned by the King of Pop and worn in concert
THE GLOVEOffered here on ebay is a rare chance to obtain something very special indeed. This is Michael Jacksons owned and concert worn single white jewelled glove. This is the single most recognised trademark item that represents the iconic superstar. Used in concert in the 1990's, this glove would have been worn during the Billie Jean performances. This is specifically a glove to be worn in concert as there are no stones on the palm side, so holding the microphone and manipulating the fedora hat is easier. On the back side of the glove are hundreds of rhinestones individually sewn on, the stones on the fingers are smaller than the ones on the back of the hand. These really reflect the light. The palm side is visually stained through use. There are 3 fastners on the palm side. Condition of the glove is excellent, there are no stones missing from what I can tell, it is in used condition. This glove is a significant piece of pop history. Original pieces like this with significant paperwork (see below) are nearly impossible to find and scarcely available on the open market. The original single white glove is increasingly popular among Michael Jackson collectors. The gloves worn by Michael in the pictures are just for illustration purposes and do not show this particular glove being worn. The image of Michael holding his gloved hand up to the camera is from the Victory world tour, earlier than when this glove was used, but it shows the proportion and the arrangement of the stones to be exactly the same. I am currently trying to contact Michael Bush, Michael Jacksons costume designer. I have been able to show him an image of the glove indirectly through a member of Michaels team, and I am still waiting to find out if there is any more interesting information available on this glove. If Michael Bush would like to contact me about this glove, I would love to hear from you! PROVENANCE AND AUTHENTICATIONI obtained this glove from a private sale through a high end auction house, the glove came from the collection of Michaels friend and concert promoter, David Gest. I have a short letter of authenticity from David Gest,(very hard to get) provided by the auction house. I was told via the auction house that David said that this glove was of significance as it was one of Michael Jacksons favourites, which he wore in many concerts. I also have the invoice from the auction house to prove the sale (The name and contact details of the auction house will be given to the winning bidder). The glove has also been independantly authenticated by the Rock and Roll Trust, also provided by the auction house. The Rock and Roll Trust has assessed all the Michael Jackson collection David Gest released for sale. I can't post any images of the paperwork on ebay simply because the paperwork, along with the glove is stored in a bank vault for safe keeping. All paperwork will be provided to the winning bidder. This is 100% totally authentic. I am open to serious offers on this glove. I will sell it if the price is right. I reserve the right to cancel this auction at any moment. IF a good offer is submitted, I will need to think about it. I would like to discuss with whoever is interested before the 'buy it now' option is used to confirm their interest and confirm that I will let this go. I reserve the right to not accept, even the 'buy it now' option if the interested party does not contact me first. Shipping costs will need to be calculated depending on the location, I would prefer it is picked up due to its value. Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions, they will be answered as soon as I can. ---------------- Enrico
